Committees & Volunteers

- Our Lady of the Assumption Catholic Parish has many volunteers to ensure the parish runs smoothly and efficiently. An organizational flowchart can be viewed here. For questions or more information on how you can become involved, please contact the Administration Center.
  
  Interested in Volunteering?
  
  OLA provides many opportunities to volunteer during Mass. If you are interested in becoming a proclaimer, hospitality minister, extraordinary minister, altar server, or sacristan, please contact our Director of Music and Liturgy. We also have many volunteer opportunities in our Religious Ed Program as well as in our Catholic School.
  
  If you are a current volunteer, thank you all for your dedication and commitment in helping OLA provide a celebration that encourages, comforts, renews, and inspires those who pass through our doors.
- Finance Council
  The Parish Finance Council is appointed and oversees parish finances, investments, and the budgeting process.
- Liturgy Committee
  The Liturgy Committee assists in liturgical and sacramental celebrations.
- Parish Life Committee
  The Parish Life Committee works to ensure that the parishioners have the opportunity to connect with the parish pastorally and socially.
- Parish Council
  The Parish Council is elected and is the principle consultative body of the parish.
- Religious Education Commission
  The Religious Education Commission is appointed and serves to assist in Baptism Preparation, Liturgy of the Word for Children, RCIA, and Catechesis.
- School Commission
  The School Commission is appointed and oversees the needs of the School and Child Care.
- Social Justice Commission
  The Social Justice Committee deals with local and world social justice issues in conjunction with other area parishes.
- Stewardship Committee
  The Stewardship Committee supports parishioners in actively participating through sharing of time, talent, and treasure.
- Trustees
  The Parish Trustees are elected and responsible for watching over the finances of the parish as well as its pastoral care.
