Making Missionary Disciples
We had an amazing day with Bishop Donald Hying! He participated in the Halloween Parade, said mass and toured the campus! During his homily, he explained to the kids what a Bishop does, what some of the symbols are (cross, mitre, shepherd’s staff, hats, etc.). Bishop Hying came to OLA to celebrate the Spanish traditional Day of the Dead, since OLA has the Catholic cemetery behind the school.
Special thanks to Fr. Mike Resop, Rev. John Hedrick, and Msgr. Dan Ganshert for coming to OLA and celebrating mass with Bishop Hying. There was a definite heightened presence of God during his visit!
We, the family of OLA School, guided by the gifts of the Holy Spirit,
provide a quality education centered on Catholic values.
Students are led to develop as a whole person,
promoting respect and moral responsibility.
Parents, parish, and staff provide a positive atmosphere
that makes our school a center of continuing growth.
